Business Development Manager (m/f)
Job Description

In this very entrepreneurial role, you will constantly identify new business opportunities to enable further growth, in close cooperation with the Head of Sales. This includes initiating business relationships with new accounts as well as strengthening our sales networks in existing markets. Operating globally and in different industries and channels such as Consumer Electronics, Travel Retail, Corporate Gifts and others, your role at SKROSS® equally requires flexibility and a structured way of working.

Your Responsibilities
  • First contact for new international distribution partners
  • Develop our sales network and key relationships in existing and new markets
  • Create action plans for geographical expansion
  • Initiate and track sales and marketing initiatives
  • Represent SKROSS® at international trade shows
  • Follow-up trade show leads
  • Negotiate and elaborate business contracts for initial listings
  • Elaborate price lists
  • Provide support to and work closely with our teams from Marketing, Product Management and Operations
  • Lead business activities in our Corporate Gifts area
  • Monitor the competition and market landscape
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Economics or Marketing (University / FH)
  • 5+ years business experience in an international environment, preferably in the field of fast moving consumer goods and / or international trade
  • Ideal age between 25 and 35 years
  • Strong communication skills and able to persuade in an international environment
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, any other language is a plus
  • Customer-oriented and flexible personality that is open to travel up to 30%
  • Enthusiastic team player who is keen to work in an interdisciplinary team (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations)
  • Structured and organized way of working, strategic thinking
