WorldConnect AG, brand owner of SKROSS®, has relocated its headquarters in eastern Switzerland from Diepoldsau to the neighboring village of Widnau from the beginning of October 2022.

The new office is located at Viscosestrasse 46. It offers enough space for current staff with room to grow, so that the company's ambitious growth targets can be implemented.

After more than 10 years of being located in an industrial district of Diepoldsau, the employees appreciate the new location surrounded by beautiful trees, a river and close proximity to various restaurants.

When choosing an office, value was also placed on the topic of sustainability. Meinrad Berchtel is Head PM at SKROSS® and together with Co-CEO Christian Ernst, part of the sustainability project of the Cellularline Group, to which WorldConnect AG belongs to since 2020.

Berchtel, who also managed the relocation project together with a small team, highlights the aspects that make the new office a more sustainable place: The building is a combined timber construction that binds many tons of CO2. Heating is by means of an environmentally friendly water heat pump and a hybrid solar system with water-cooled photovoltaics, which feeds excess energy into the power grid. Hot water is generated via a fresh water module. The interconnection of the system parts has the aim of minimizing the power consumption of the heat pump and maximizing the electricity yield from the photovoltaics.

In addition, all workstations will be equipped with power-saving electric strips, which will ensure that no power is drawn for devices in standby mode during the night or on the weekends. The modern interior design and the ventilation systems make a significant contribution to a healthy and pleasant working atmosphere. For all of these reasons, SKROSS® employees are looking forward to working in the new office in Widnau.
