Since the boundary between 2- and 3-pole devices is relatively blurred, it is not really possible to make a 100% division between devices.
Normally, however, devices which do not use much power, in other words below 500 watts, are 2-pole:
- electric toothbrushes
- razors
- charging stations for USB-capable devices like mobile phones, iPods and iPads, etc
- coffee-makers
- navigation devices
- video cameras
- …
More powerful devices (above 500 watts) normally are 3-pole:
- laptops
- PCs
- hairdryers
- hair straighteners
- irons
- vacuum cleaners
- televisions
- power drills
- kettles
- …
